Barbara Gibb Feely, 88, of Westerville Ohio, went to be with the Lord she loved on March 30, 2021. She was born to the late James W. Gibb and Dorothy Sterritt Gibb. Barbara grew up in Belmont, Massachusetts, graduated from Belmont High School, and from Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina. She and her husband, Willard resided in many areas of our country while he was employed with Western Electric. They took up residence in Westerville in 1977. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband Willard, and brother Donald Gibb and his wife Betty of Burlington, Massachusetts. She is survived by her brother, Malcolm Gibb and his wife Elizabeth of Monson, Massachusetts and many nieces and nephews and their families. Barbara showed her trust in the LORD by her cheerful attitude and faithful attendance at Westerville Bible Church. Barbara believed Gods promises. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5,6. She supported and encouraged people of all ages with cards, correspondence, and cherished scripture verses. She arranged trips and activities for the Prime Timers (retirees). During the long period when Willard was in a coma at Manor Care, Barbara was instrumental in bringing the residents to the Sunday services held by Westerville Bible Church. Even for years afterward, she continued this ministry. Barbara loved nature and birds, and sitting by her window in later years brought such joy. Members of her church have lovingly cared for her needs in the years after Willards death. Friends may call at MORELAND FUNERAL HOME 55 East Schrock, Westerville, OH 43081 Saturday April 3rd 9:30 - 10:30 am. where a service will follow at 10:30 with Pastor Paul Hamilton officiating.
